Make Authentic Italian Pizza!

Pizza has always been one of my favorite foods. Last semester, when I studied abroad in Italy, I ate pizza almost every day. It was incredible! It wasn’t long after I got back to the states before I began to miss the Italian pizza. Papa John’s was not cutting it! I decided to try to make some authentic Italian pizza in my own kitchen. I did not have a recipe, so I just did my best. I bought some pizza dough from a local Italian restaurant. I used some store-bought pizza sauce. Lastly, I topped the pizza off with fresh mozzarella and basil. I popped it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. It was a delicious success! If you aren’t comfortable with experimenting in the kitchen, try this recipe. You could also try out this recipe. If you ever find yourself in Italy, follow this blogger for all the good restaurants. Would you try your hand at making this authentic pizza?

  1. This looks so yummy and so fun to try. I will definitely need to make this at some point. I’m sure once you go to Italy and eat their pizza, pizza back home will never compare lol. Thanks for sharing 🙂
